The Word of God is an extra large 144 by 144 map with an underground level, rated expert difficulty and played in Restoration of Erathia. Eight players each control one faction, from Inferno to Dungeon, and all eight slots can be human. There are no teams. The story follows eight heroes, sons of God, who fight one another for the right to succeed their father. He has taken the form of an avatar and waits for the war to end before naming an heir. About 16 percent of the map is water, with grass, snow, and subterranean ground. Victory requires defeating a specific monster, and a player loses after losing all towns and heroes. Notable features include 48 towns, 136 mines, 176 creature banks, and nine stacks of Black Dragons roaming the map.

Author's description

The avatars incarnated as mighty Heroes of the eight sons of God, fight one another to be the succesor of their father, God, who has incarnated as his avatar, The Word of God, and awaits the end of the war to proclamate his succesor. Now God is vulnerable, but he rely on his sons... till now.
