The Trellion Wars is a large underground map of 108 by 108 tiles, built for the Restoration of Erathia version and set at Normal difficulty. Five players each start with a different faction: Necropolis, Castle, Stronghold, Inferno and Tower. All five seats are human-playable, there are no computer-only colors, and no teams are set, so every player fights for themselves with the goal of defeating all enemies. A player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers about half the map and water roughly 29 percent, and the author notes that the rugged ground and monster-guarded regions make pathfinding a useful skill. The map holds twelve towns, with wandering stacks of Horned Demons, Vampire Lords and Crusaders among the more common, plus forty mines, sixteen creature banks and twenty-seven monoliths and portals.
