The Toymaker — RoE

The Toymaker is a medium 72x72 surface map for Heroes of Might and Magic III, built for Restoration of Erathia and rated Hard. Roughly half its tiles are water, with the remainder split among grass, dirt and snow. Three players take part, though only one can be human; Red and Purple are computer-controlled, and the two teams pit a Castle player against a Tower player and a Necropolis player. The story follows a reclusive toymaker who must recover a missing manual and then come to the aid of a friend under attack by undead forces. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while a player loses if a specific hero falls. Players will meet wandering Vampire Lords, Liches and Diamond Golems, as well as three towns, 26 mines and ten randomly placed artifacts.
