The backdrop is a land ravaged by a deadly plague, where the survivors face a greater menace, and the goal is to track down and destroy a specific villain. A side is defeated once it loses all its towns and heroes. Terrain is mostly rock, grass, and swamp, with subterranean ground as well. The map holds 16 towns and the Grail, 146 random artifacts, and 145 creature banks, along with dwellings that house Angels, Genies, and Green Dragons.
