The New Batch — AB
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
The New Batch is a medium 72x72 Armageddon's Blade map with an underground level, set for three players at Normal difficulty. Only one human player can take part, while the Blue and Purple colors are computer-controlled. There are no teams. Blue plays Inferno, and Red and Purple get random factions. Water covers about half the map, with the rest mostly dirt and subterranean ground. The author frames it as a deliberately hopeless mission whose goal is unclear. Victory comes from acquiring one specific artifact, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Notable features include eight towns, 31 mines, several creature banks, and a range of artifacts scattered across the map, along with wandering Gremlins, Titans, and Hydras.
