The Lost Hat is a small Armageddon's Blade map of 36 by 36 tiles, played on an underground level at hard difficulty. It follows Theodaurus, who finds himself stranded in an unfamiliar place after a laboratory accident and must find the wizard's hat he has misplaced. Two players are set up with no teams, and only one seat is human. The computer-controlled Red player uses Inferno, while the human-capable Blue player uses Conflux. The terrain is mostly rock, grass, and swamp, with a little water. Seer huts, quest guards, monoliths and portals, and artifacts such as the Armor of Wonder and Sandals of the Saint are scattered across the map. Victory requires acquiring one specific artifact, and losing a particular hero ends the game.
