The Lord of War is an Extra Large Armageddon's Blade map on a 144 by 144 field, with an underground level and Impossible difficulty. Its story follows Leondegrance, an ancient warlord who first explored the continents and united them, though the description casts him as a barbarian rather than a peaceful ruler. Eight players take part, with one human seat and seven computer-controlled colours, and there are no teams. The factions are Tower, Dungeon, Stronghold, Fortress, Castle, Inferno, Rampart and Necropolis. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and losing a specific hero ends the game. Water covers about a quarter of the map, with subterranean, grass and lava terrain making up much of the rest. Notable features include the Grail, the Titan's Gladius and Titan's Cuirass, and 44 timed events.

Author's description

This is the story of Leondegrance's war. In ancient times this great warlord was the first one to explore the continents and finally unite them into one great kingdom. Nevertheless he was not a man of peace and honour...but a barbarian in heart and mind.
