The Good And The Bad (sod) — SoD

The Good And The Bad is a medium-sized underground map for Shadow of Death, laid out on a 72 by 72 grid with both surface and subterranean levels. Four players compete in two teams, with all four seats open to human players and no computer-only colors. Red plays Castle, Blue plays Necropolis, Purple plays Dungeon, and Teal plays Tower. The author describes it as a clash between Arthur and Merlin on one side and Mordred and Morgan Le Fey on the other. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses when every town and hero is gone. The terrain is mostly grass and subterranean ground, with some sand and water. Hunters will find nearly two hundred wandering monster stacks, twelve towns, and a scattering of mines, seer huts, and creature banks. Several named artifacts are placed on the map, including Angel Wings and the Crown of the Supreme Magi.
