The Garden of Evil — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
The Garden of Evil is a small two-player map measuring 36 by 36 tiles, played on the surface with no underground level. Two human players can take part, with no computer-only colors and no teams, and each side's faction is assigned at random. The author describes a final clash over the Garden of Learning, after decades of fighting, where the winner claims the prize. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. About a fifth of the map is water, with grass and dirt covering most of the rest. Notable features include two towns, a Mighty Gorgon wandering the map, sixteen random monster stacks, sixteen randomly placed artifacts, and thirteen mines.
