The Frothe is an extra large 144 by 144 map for In the Wake of Gods, with an underground level alongside the surface. Its author describes it simply as a map for relaxed play, either alone or with friends. Seven players each take a different faction: Castle, Tower, Necropolis, Stronghold, Fortress, Dungeon, and Inferno. All seven slots can be human, and there are no teams or computer-only colors. Rock, water, grass, and dirt make up most of the terrain, with water covering about 18 percent. The map holds 35 towns, 82 mines, 33 seer huts, 70 creature banks, and 8 monoliths or portals, along with wandering monsters such as Black Dragons and Beholders and artifacts like Armageddon's Blade. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes. Difficulty is set to Normal.
