The Fellowship of the Ring — WoG
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
The Fellowship of the Ring is an extra large 144 by 144 map with an underground level, rated for expert play and designed for three players, all of whom can be human, split into two teams. Its premise centers on an alliance of Elves and Men opposing Sauron, with Frodo attempting the journey to Mordor to destroy the One Ring. Red commands Inferno, Necropolis and Stronghold, while Blue and Green both play Castle. Victory requires transporting one specific artifact, and a player is eliminated after losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers about 45 percent of the land, grass about 27 percent, and water 8 percent. The map holds 18 towns, 25 heroes, 56 mines and 20 creature banks, along with artifacts such as the Dragon Scale Armor and the Celestial Necklace of Bliss.
