The Fae Ring is an Extra Large, 144 by 144 map for Armageddon's Blade with an underground level, set at Normal difficulty. Its author describes three young travelers pulled into a mythical world, where they must survive and look for a way home, or perhaps something else. Five players are placed, but only one slot can be human, with Red, Blue, Tan and Green computer-controlled. Players form four teams, and the factions are Tower, Conflux, Necropolis, Rampart, and a Purple side that combines Castle and Rampart. Rock covers the largest share of the terrain, with water at about 13 percent. Victory requires acquiring a specific artifact, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Notable features include sixteen towns, sixty mines, a Grail, six timed events, and a set of placed artifacts such as the Cape of Velocity and the Crown of Dragontooth.
