The Dark Forest — AB
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
The Dark Forest is an Extra Large 144 by 144 grassland map for Armageddon's Blade, with an underground level and no water. It is set for eight players, all of whom can be human, with no teams and no computer-only colors. Every player begins with a random faction, and the map places 24 towns and 2 heroes. Victory comes from defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Wandering Faerie Dragons roam the map, and the terrain is filled with random monster stacks, creature banks, mines, Seer Huts, and 134 random artifacts. The Grail is also placed on the map. Dwellings house Faerie Dragons, Enchanters, Sharpshooters, Halflings, Boars, Rogues, and Trolls.
