The Circle — RoE

The Circle is an extra large surface map for Restoration of Erathia, sized 144 by 144 with no underground level, rated Hard. Six players share it across three teams, and all six seats can be human. Red and Blue play Tower, Green and Orange play Castle, and Purple and Pink play Fortress. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Water covers about 40 percent of the land, with grass, snow and swamp making up most of the rest. The map holds ten towns, eight heroes at the start, 51 mines, 14 creature banks, and 57 randomly placed artifacts. The Grail is hidden on the map, along with two monoliths or portals, two dendroid wandering stacks, and 109 random monster stacks. The author's description is a short, dramatic challenge aimed at confident players.
