The Challenge(Antal's version) — SoD

The Challenge (Antal's version) is a two-player underground map for Heroes of Might and Magic III: Shadow of Death, rated Expert and set on a medium 72 by 72 field. Each side begins with a random faction, and both players are human, with no computer-only colors and no teams. Victory requires destroying every enemy, while a player loses by running out of towns and heroes. The landscape is mostly rock, dirt, and lava, with a little grass and roughly 4 percent water. Five towns, 71 random monster stacks, and a number of wandering guardians such as Titans, Archangels, Wraiths, and Black Dragons are spread across the level. Notable placed items include a set of mana-related artifacts, and the map also features 28 mines, 16 creature banks, and 10 monoliths and portals.
