The Black Eagles - Zion Pass is a medium two-player map, 72 by 72 tiles, with an underground level included. You take the role of a scout captain in a mercenary army hired by a kingdom at war with a wizard, and the map is built around that small advance force. One human player can take the Blue Rampart side, while the Red Tower side is run by the computer. Neither side has a team. Rock, grass, subterranean and snow terrain make up most of the land, with about 13 percent water. Wandering monsters include liches, vampires, giants, a basilisk and a wyvern, and the map holds two creature banks, two monoliths or portals, 26 mines and several named artifacts. Victory comes from capturing a specific town, and defeat comes if you lose a specific town.
