The Battle of Diiranog — RoE

Overview

Written from the facts in this map's file

The Battle of Diiranog is a large underground map of 108 by 108 tiles, set for Restoration of Erathia at Normal difficulty. Seven computer-controlled colors take part, one of which can be held by a single human player, and they fall into four teams. The factions are Inferno, Tower, Rampart, Stronghold, Necropolis, Dungeon and Fortress, one per color. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while a player loses once every town and hero is gone. Rock covers about 37 percent of the land and water about 29 percent, with smaller areas of subterranean ground and lava. The map holds 13 towns, 144 mines, and a Grail, along with wandering stacks of Arch Devils, Black Dragons, Chaos Hydras, an Archangel and Gold Dragons. Dwellings hold a varied mix of creatures, and artifacts are scattered across the land. A timed event is also included.
