The Battle of Diiranog — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
The Battle of Diiranog is a large underground map of 108 by 108 tiles for Restoration of Erathia, set at Normal difficulty. Seven computer-controlled players, one of them in a teams setup of four, fight across rock, water, subterranean ground, and lava, with water covering about 29 percent of the land. Seven factions take part: Inferno, Tower, Rampart, Stronghold, Necropolis, Dungeon, and Fortress. Only one human player can join. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. The author describes a land torn by war and a rumored hoard of treasure that tempts players to search for it. The map holds 13 towns, 144 mines, and a Grail, along with wandering stacks of Arch Devils, Black Dragons, Chaos Hydras, Archangels, and Gold Dragons. Dwellings house creatures such as Genies, Iron Golems, and Unicorns.
