Texas Scrsamble — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Texas Scrsamble is a large underground map measuring 108 by 108, rated hard, for eight players with one human slot and seven computer colors, and no teams. Red has a random faction, while the other colors field Fortress, Dungeon, Necropolis, Inferno, Tower, Rampart, and Castle. Rock covers 38 percent and water 29 percent of the terrain. The map holds 15 towns, 59 mines, and the Grail, along with 79 wandering monster stacks and 13 random artifacts. Victory requires defeating every enemy, while losing all towns and heroes ends a player's game. The author warns that guards will hold back hordes for a while, so building up before attacking is advised.
