Temnota is an extra-large underground map measuring 144 by 144, played at the Impossible difficulty for up to five players, with only one human seat and four computer-controlled opponents. Two teams face off, with Rampart, Castle, Fortress, Necropolis and Tower represented among the factions. The scenario is built around a royal succession dispute, drawn from the author's note about a long-reigning king and his two sons. Victory requires transporting a specific artifact, while losing a designated hero ends the game. The land is roughly a third rock, with grass, water and dirt making up the rest. Thirty towns, six placed heroes, fifty-three mines and a Grail add to the setting, and wandering Gremlin stacks are especially common.
