Sylvan Revolt is a medium underground map of 72 by 72 tiles at Normal difficulty. It supports three players, with up to two human players and Orange controlled by the computer. There are no teams. The factions are Castle for Red, Rampart for Green, and Stronghold for Orange. The story centers on a war between the Sylvan people and the human nation of Stafordshire, with barbarians in the mountains that could disrupt the plans of either side. Rock covers much of the terrain, with water and grass making up most of the rest. The map includes twelve towns, eight heroes, fourteen mines, five creature banks, and the Grail. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero.
