Sylvan Revolt is a medium 72 by 72 map with an underground level, played on Normal difficulty by three players, two of whom can be human. The Orange side is computer-controlled, and there are no teams. Red plays Castle, Green plays Rampart, and Orange plays Stronghold. The premise is a break from a long uneasy coexistence between the Sylvan folk and a human nation, with war as the answer. The author also warns about barbarians in the mountains who could disrupt plans. Rock covers about 44 percent of the terrain and water about 17 percent. The map has twelve towns, eight heroes, a Grail, wandering monsters, creature dwellings, and artifacts. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero.
