Spinner is an Extra Large 144 by 144 underground map for the Shadow of Death expansion, rated Expert, and it is set up for eight players with two human players at most, the other six colors being computer-controlled. Players form four teams, and the factions run from Inferno and Tower through Necropolis, Castle, Fortress, Rampart, Stronghold and Dungeon. The goal is to defeat all enemies, while a player falls once every town and hero is lost. Subterranean ground, rock and water make up most of the terrain. The map holds 23 towns, a wandering Azure Dragon, roughly 245 random monster stacks, and placed artifacts such as Armageddon's Blade, the Titan's Cuirass and the Thunder Helmet, along with 120 mines and eight Seer Huts.
