Spinner is an extra large underground map for Shadow of Death, sized 144 by 144 and rated Expert. Eight players occupy it, with at most two controlled by humans, grouped into four teams: Purple and Pink face Red, Tan and Blue, while Green and Orange oppose Teal. Each player starts with one of eight factions, ranging from Inferno and Necropolis to Dungeon and Rampart. Subterranean and rock tiles cover about half the land, and water about a sixth. Expect 23 towns, 120 mines, an Azure Dragon roaming the land, and placed artifacts including Armageddon's Blade. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses after losing every town and hero. The author promises fast, aggressive play with plenty of starting resources.
