Shatter Proof is an extra large Shadow of Death map measuring 144 by 144, with an underground level alongside the surface. Eight players take part, and up to four of them can be human, while the remaining four colors are computer-controlled. There are no teams. The factions are Conflux, Castle, Stronghold, Fortress, Inferno, Tower, Dungeon and Necropolis, one per player. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map holds 30 towns, 19 heroes and 102 mines, plus 59 creature banks, seven monoliths and portals, and the Grail. Ice Elementals and a Bone Dragon roam the land. Opponents are described as strong, so early growth is important.
