Seeking the Blackshard — WoG

Seeking the Blackshard is a small two-player map for In the Wake of Gods, set on a 36 by 36 underground level played at Normal difficulty. Two human players can take part, with no computer-only colors and no teams. The Red player leads a Tower town and the Blue player leads an Inferno town, and the goal is simple: whoever first acquires a particular artifact wins, while a player who loses all towns and heroes is defeated. The description frames it as a race between a heretic chasing the Blackshard for dark purposes and a wizard set on destroying it. Terrain is a mix of dirt, water, grass and snow, with water covering about a quarter of the map. Notable features include Mechanic, Engineer and Fangarm stacks roaming the land, Troll and Stormbird dwellings, and a large set of dragon-themed artifacts, along with fourteen mines and a seer hut.
