Scorched Earth — HotA 1.3.0+

Scorched Earth is a medium 72 by 72 map with an underground level, set on an island where a volcanic eruption has ended resource extraction. Mines have collapsed, burned, or flooded with lava, leaving only the warehouses as a supply source, and a neighboring lord is eyeing the island. Three players take part, with up to two controlled by humans. The Teal side is computer-only and uses a random faction, while Purple and Pink both play Conflux. There are no teams. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. The map has six towns, ten mines, 29 creature banks, six monoliths and portals, and 53 random monster stacks, including wandering Black Dragons, Sea Serpents, and Fire Elementals. Water covers about 22 percent of the terrain.
