Santana — HotA 1.8.0

Santana is a medium 72 by 72 map for Horn of the Abyss, with both a surface level and an underground level. It is built for five players, though only three can be human, and the two remaining colors, Green and Orange, are computer-controlled. There are no teams, so every faction plays alone. The factions are Tower for Red and Green, Necropolis for Blue, Fortress for Tan, and Rampart for Orange. Rock covers about 42 percent of the terrain and water about 35 percent, leaving little open grass. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map holds ten towns, thirty mines, four creature banks, and four monoliths or portals, along with ten named artifacts and four random ones. Wandering monsters include many pixies and gnoll marauders, and dwellings offer pegasi, wights, beholders, and minotaurs.
