Russian Federation — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
The Russian Federation is an extra large underground-enabled map for four players, each able to be human, with no teams and no computer-only colors. Factions are random for every player, and the stated victory is to defeat all enemies, while a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Water covers about 64 percent of the surface, with grass and sand making up most of the remaining land, so the free stretches of ground are spread far apart. The map holds 25 towns and 8 starting heroes, along with 52 mines, 38 monoliths and portals, and a Grail. Wandering forces include ten peasant stacks, five ice elementals, and four azure dragons, and placed artifacts include the Endless Sack of Gold and the Bow of the Sharpshooter. The author gives no further rules or special conditions.
