Run the Gauntlet — AB
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Run the Gauntlet is a small underground map set in Armageddon's Blade, measuring 36 by 36 tiles and played on a single underground level. It supports six players, but only one can be human, with the other five colors controlled by the computer. Three teams are defined, and the factions in play are Necropolis, Castle (two players), Stronghold, Rampart, and Dungeon. The goal is to defeat all enemies, while the hero is lost if one specific hero falls. Terrain is mostly grass and rock, with a share of subterranean ground and some dirt. Notable features include Armageddon's Blade placed on the map, fourteen random artifacts, twelve mines, and eight monoliths and portals, along with wandering monster stacks of several types. The difficulty is rated Expert.
