Résurection is a medium 72 by 72 underground map on hard difficulty for five players, with one human player at most and four computer-only colors, grouped into two teams. The author's note describes an ancient empire now threatened by a forgotten evil, along with old allies that have been lost, and says the Grail must be recovered to fight it, with the quest leading into realms once thought to be myths. The factions are Tower, Castle, Stronghold, Inferno, and a mix of Castle and Necropolis. Victory requires building a Grail structure, and the game is lost if time expires after 112 days. Rock covers the largest share of the terrain, followed by grass, water, and dirt. The map holds seven towns, 23 mines, eight monoliths and portals, and wandering stacks of golems, elementals, and dwarves.
