Power of artifact — SoD
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Power of Artifact is a large Heroes III map on a 108 by 108 grid, with an underground level and an Expert difficulty rating. It is built for four players, but only one can be human, so the other three colors are computer-controlled: Blue, Tan and Green, alongside the human-facing Red. There are no teams. Red plays Castle, Blue plays Inferno, Tan plays Dungeon and Green plays Necropolis. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses once all their towns and heroes are gone. The terrain is mostly dirt, swamp, rough ground and lava, with a little water. The map is stocked with 17 towns, seven heroes, a large number of artifacts scattered about, 53 mines, and wandering stacks of strong creatures such as Black Dragons and Magogs.
