Pirate Song is an Extra Large 144x144 map for eight players, all of whom can be human, with no teams and no underground level. The author's description invites players to take on the role of a seafaring raider and hunt for treasure, and the map is almost entirely water, at about 97 percent. Each player starts with one of the eight factions: Castle, Tower, Stronghold, Rampart, Necropolis, Dungeon, Fortress, and Conflux. The map is played on Impossible difficulty. Victory requires building a Grail structure, and a player is defeated after losing all towns and heroes. Scattered across the waters are eight towns, 82 mines, 22 seer huts, 53 creature banks, and a Grail, along with many artifacts such as the Armageddon's Blade and several pendants and orbs.
