Pinocchio — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Pinocchio is a medium underground map of 72 by 72 tiles for five players, all of whom can be human, with no teams and a hard difficulty setting. The author warns that the world hides more danger than its playful name suggests, and hints that its power lies in a certain nose. Players start as Castle, Fortress, Necropolis, Dungeon and Stronghold, and the goal is to defeat every enemy, while a player loses by running out of towns and heroes. Water covers about a third of the land, with large stretches of grass and lava and some dirt. The map holds twelve towns, nine starting heroes, 51 mines, and the Grail, along with a range of placed artifacts such as the Crown of the Supreme Magi and Boots of Speed. Wandering Water Elementals, Harpies and Demons roam the lands.
