Pingu — RoE

Pingu is an extra large underground map measuring 144 by 144, played on Hard difficulty with three colors, two of which can be human-controlled. The third, Tan, is computer-only and fights with a Rampart army. Red and Blue get random factions, and the setup uses two teams. Rock covers half the terrain and water about a third. The map has five towns, one starting hero, and 30 mines, along with many wandering monsters, including Black Dragons and a Gold Dragon, and artifacts such as Angel Wings and Boots of Speed. Victory requires defeating all enemies, while a player loses after losing every town and hero. The creator's note urges players to build a strong force before the Rampart forces advance.
