Outer Provinces — AB

Outer Provinces is an Extra Large 144 by 144 map for Armageddon's Blade with an underground level, rated Expert. Eight players each start with a different faction, from Necropolis and Stronghold to Castle, and all eight slots can be human with no teams and no computer-only colors. Victory requires defeating every enemy, while a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The author's description sketches a realm where the emperor's death has left its local rulers at odds, with old and new enemies ready to strike. Rock, water, grass, and subterranean terrain cover most of the land, and the map holds 43 towns, 143 mines, 14 creature banks, and 81 randomly placed artifacts, along with 405 wandering monster stacks, six monoliths and portals, and eight timed events.
