Outer Provinces — AB

Outer Provinces is an Extra Large 144 by 144 map for Armageddon's Blade with an underground level, rated Expert difficulty. Eight players, all of them human-capable, each start with a different faction, running from Necropolis and Stronghold through Castle and Inferno. There are no teams. The author's description sketches a realm where the emperor has recently died without a clear heir, leaving local rulers at odds while older and newer enemies threaten. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing every town and hero. Rock, water, grass and subterranean ground make up most of the terrain, and the map holds 43 towns, 143 mines and 81 randomly placed artifacts. Wandering monsters, creature banks, monoliths and portals, and eight timed events add further incidents.
