Olde World is an Extra Large 144x144 map for Armageddon's Blade, played at Normal difficulty with an underground level. Eight players each take one of the eight factions, all human-capable, with no teams and no computer-only colors. The map's theme is a final battle for a fantasy version of the Old World, with each player choosing one of the eight factions: Inferno, Castle, two Strongholds, Dungeon, Necropolis, Rampart and Tower. Rock covers about 38 percent of the terrain and water about 18 percent, with grass and subterranean ground making up the rest. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map holds 25 towns and 16 placed heroes, along with 57 mines, two seer huts, four creature banks, the Grail, and a set of placed artifacts. Wandering Medusa Queens, Minotaur Kings and Thunderbirds roam the map.
