Nowe Srodziemie — RoE

Nowe Srodziemie is an extra large, single-level map of 144 by 144 tiles, rated hard. Its story, as the author describes it, is of darkness rising in Mordor and Saruman's betrayal, with only Gondor and Rohan left to stand against it. Four players compete in two teams, with at most two human players, and the Green and Purple colors are computer-controlled. Rampart plays for Red, Castle for Blue and Green, and Inferno for Purple. Grass covers about half the map, with sand, rough ground and water making up the rest. Thirteen towns, 96 mines and five starting heroes are placed, and wandering stacks include Wights, Dendroid Guards and Wraiths. Dwellings hold Pit Fiends and Orcs. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player is defeated after losing every town and hero.
