Nostalgy — SoD

Nostalgy is a large 108 by 108 map with an underground level, built for four players, of whom up to three can be human. Red is computer-controlled only. There are no teams, and the difficulty is set to hard. Every player may choose from all seven factions. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers about half the terrain, water about a fifth, and snow and grass about 14 percent each. The map places ten towns and seven heroes, with hero level capped at 10. The author describes it as a reflection on pleasant memories and dreams that still required a great deal of work. Notable finds include the Grail, wandering Azure Dragons, and artifacts such as the Blackshard of the Dead Knight and the Shield of the Yawning Dead.
