Necromancer Supremacy? — RoE

Necromancer Supremacy? is a medium underground map of 72 by 72 tiles, rated Hard, for two players with only one human seat. The human takes the Blue side, which fields Castle and Rampart, while the computer-only Purple side plays Necropolis. There are no teams. The author frames the story as a question of whether the expansion plans of Zero can be stopped, with Saleena facing a steep fight. Victory requires capturing a specific town, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers about 42 percent of the terrain, with dirt, grass, and water making up most of the rest. The map has six towns, four heroes, 16 mines, and 31 random monster stacks, including Infernal Troglodytes. Placed artifacts include the Ladybird of Luck, the Quiet Eye of the Dragon, and the Sword of Judgement.
