multiplayermayhem — RoE

Multiplayer Mayhem is a medium 72 by 72 map with an underground level. It is set for four players on Normal difficulty, and all four slots can be human. There are no teams and no computer-only colors. The description says that four factions fight one another. Red plays Inferno, Blue plays Tower, Orange holds Dungeon and Fortress, and Teal holds Castle and Stronghold. Eight towns and eight heroes are placed. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The terrain is mostly rock, subterranean, snow and grass, with some water. Notable features include the Grail, artifacts such as the Sword of Judgement and the Orb of the Firmament, 48 mines, six monoliths and portals, and wandering monsters including a Roc and Ogre Mages.
