Mines — SoD

The map Mines is an underground-enabled HoMM 3 Shadow of Death map of Extra Large size, 144 by 144 tiles, with two levels. It supports four players, all of whom may be human, with no teams and no computer-only colors. Each of Blue, Green, Purple and Teal starts with a random faction. Water covers about 36 percent of the surface, with grass, rough and sand making up most of the remaining land. Victory requires flagging all mines, and a player is defeated by losing all towns and heroes. Difficulty is set to Hard. Notable features include 112 mines, 39 creature banks, 24 seer huts, 16 monoliths and portals, and twelve towns, with dragons and golems guarding dwellings and wandering stacks.
