midearthv4 — AB
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Midearthv4 is a Heroes of Might and Magic III map for Armageddon's Blade, inspired by Tolkien's Middle-earth. It is an extra large 144 by 144 map with an underground level, rated Hard, and seats eight players, with only one human player allowed and no teams. The factions include Dungeon, Stronghold, Tower, Inferno, Necropolis, Rampart and Castle. Victory requires capturing a specific town, and losing a particular town ends the game. The landscape is mostly rock and grass, with some water and dirt. Eighteen towns and 14 pre-placed heroes fill the world, along with 77 mines and a seer hut. Wandering monsters include Azure Dragons, Wraiths and Orc Chieftains, and several artifacts such as the Dragon Scale Armor and the Helm of the Alabaster Unicorn are placed around the map. A timed event also adds pressure.
