Merlins Challenge — RoE

Merlins Challenge is a medium 72x72 underground map for two players, each able to be human, with no teams and random factions for both Red and Blue. The author's description frames it as a contest among mages to become Merlin's apprentice, and the goal is to defeat every enemy. A player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map is mostly rock and grass, with some swamp and a little water, and it is set for Normal difficulty. Five towns are spread across the map alongside 84 wandering monster stacks, 20 mines, 16 seer huts, 14 creature banks, and four monoliths or portals. Placed artifacts include the Angel Wings, Boots of Levitation, Endless Sack of Gold, and several spellbooks, with 26 more artifacts scattered at random.
