Master Of The Dark is a medium 72x72 map for Shadow of Death with an underground level, built for multiplayer and rated Expert. Its story is about a land once ruled by a king that a necromancer named Grim Reaper seized, and players set out to take it back. Six colors are present, with four slots open to humans and Purple and Pink reserved for computer control, each with a different town: Castle, Stronghold, Rampart, Tower, Necropolis and Dungeon. There are no teams. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Grass, water, lava and snow cover most of the surface, with water at about 15 percent. Players will find 14 towns, 61 mines, a Grail, 33 random artifacts, and placed artifacts such as the Boots of Speed and the Orb of the Firmament.
