Master Of The Dark — RoE
Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Master Of The Dark is a medium 72 by 72 map for Restoration of Erathia, with an underground level and Expert difficulty. Six colors take part, but only four can be human, and the Purple and Pink colors are computer-only. There are no teams. The backstory concerns a kingdom overtaken by a necromancer, and players aim to win it back. Each color has one faction: Castle, Stronghold, Rampart, Tower, Necropolis, or Dungeon. Victory requires defeating all enemies, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. The map has 14 towns, 15 heroes, 61 mines, 12 creature banks, and the Grail. Notable finds include the Boots of Speed and the Orb of the Firmament. Lava, grass, water, and snow cover most of the terrain.
