Quest for Glory is a medium underground map measuring 72 by 72 tiles for In the Wake of Gods, set on the Impossible difficulty. Up to one human player can take the Rampart side against a computer-controlled Tower opponent, and no teams are used. According to the author, the story follows an ordinary elf who passes the knight selection and is immediately sent to kill a mage. Terrain is mostly rock and snow, with grass covering about a tenth of the map and very little water. Five towns and six heroes are placed, alongside wandering Gold Dragons, Arch Mages and Naga Queens, plus artifacts such as the Golden Goose and Angel Feather Arrows. Victory requires defeating a specific hero, and losing a specific hero ends the game.
