Overview
Written from the facts in this map's file
Dragon Lord is a large 108 by 108 map with an underground level, set for seven players on Normal difficulty. Only one seat is human, and the other six are computer-controlled. There are no teams. The factions are Castle, Tower, two Strongholds, Fortress, Dungeon, and Necropolis. The author's story concerns dragons who withdrew from mortal affairs and an ancient dragon who decides that only the lords of sky and flame should rule the world. Victory requires accumulating 175 creatures, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers about a third of the land, with grass, subterranean ground, and water making up much of the rest. The map contains 16 towns, 46 mines, 37 creature banks, 24 monoliths and portals, and several powerful artifacts, including Armageddon's Blade.
