Karma Crossroads is a large underground map of 108 by 108 tiles for In the Wake of Gods, set on the Impossible difficulty. Six players take part across five teams, but only one seat can be human, and the other five colors are computer-controlled. Rampart, Stronghold, Inferno, and Dungeon are the factions in play, with three players using Dungeon. The author presents it as a role-playing journey about the consequences of one's choices, with heroes heading toward new quests. Capturing a specific town wins the game, and a player loses by losing all towns and heroes. Rock covers about 36 percent of the terrain and water about 26 percent. Notable features include eleven water elemental stacks roaming the map, nine monoliths and portals, and the Crown of the Supreme Magi among the placed artifacts.
